Sanitation Weeding

Weeding either by hand weeder or stirrup hoe making sure to get the roots. The goal is to weed before the plants “go to seed” this reduces the weed the seed presence in your soil “bank”. This is a more time intensive initially but with regular maintenance it saves much time and energy trying to fight mature weedy roots. Mulch or ground cover may be recommended as well.
